The 2023 Show & Agri-Expo, formerly The Burnie Show is shaping up to be just as great, if not BETTER than our first Show and second Show at Agriplex in 2019 & 2022! And what’s even better is Children aged 5 and under are FREE to attend!

Whilst our name may have changed we remain dedicated to providing the community an agricultural show containing animal,produce and craft competitions, giving producers an opportunity to showcase their products, plus the ever popular sideshow alley carnival rides, games and fast food for the excitement and thrill seekers.
Alongside our traditional elements we have searched far and wide for hundreds of commercial exhibitors who are looking forward to showcasing their  products and services with all our attendees. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for a new tractor, caravan or even some locally produced craft items WE HAVE IT ALL
We continue to remain dedicated to uncovering new and exciting elements to join our already exciting line ups of features and events to entertain and inform our attendees for hours!


YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU MIGHT DISCOVER AT THE 2023 SHOW & AGRI-EXPO!

Where do we  start when introducing you to the MANY features our team has searched high and low, close and far to bring to you in the ONE location.
If animals is your thing we are have all your family favourites in the animal nursery, but if goats are more your style you’ll find pens of miniature goats playing like children, dairy goats competing for the championship ribbon on Saturday ONLY, plus a first for us is a trick goat believed the be the first in Tasmania!  If chickens are more your vibe there will be a large display of over 20 breeds plus the opportunity to hold a chick. For the sheep enthusiasts, for the first time EVER we will have the working sheep dogs herding the sheep followed by the shearing demonstrations, the spinners and weavers will then turn the wool into garments, be sure to cast your eyes over this one! The snakes will be back in 2023 for those who dare to watch and feel. We will also be introducing a favourite from across the world in 2023, SAUSAGE DOG RACES! Catch this on SATURDAY ONLY!. But let’s not forget the cattle, we will have beef and dairy breeds on display PLUS  Isla, Ceit, Conailbhe and Canach the Scottish highland cows directly from Scotland, the whole family can enjoy brushing these long haired and horned creatures. A favourite of ours is watching the horses in their chosen disciplines, we’ve got the equestrian events on the arena, carriage driving ponies, a heavy horse festival, Saturday ONLY plus the poplar horse and wagonette rides are back from 2022. And last but not least we had no hesitation in inviting Richie Wells and his team of working bullocks back again in 2023!


For those more interested in our other events and aspects, the ever popular tractor pull will be back, catch the woodchopping on Saturday ONLY, how about Eddie Freeman carving animals out of wood with his chainsaw, close by you’ll find our very own blacksmith sharing his craft. The Small fords display will be back along with some roaming characters, popular with the kids! Alongside our singing grey nomad whose competition will be the Burnie Highland band roaming the Agriplex. For those more interested in motorbikes we’ve got the stunt team on site jumping objects and obstacles all show long! Fancy a mellow time? The cottage craft competitions and stall holders are sure to impress alongside the 100 commercial exhibitors booked for 2023, but let’s not forget the carnival rides and show bags which will be hanging out next to the “come and try archery area for all to enjoy!

With plenty more attractions we’d rather keep a surprise until you wander through our gates in 2023!
