Battle of the Bands is back at the The Burnie Show & Agri-Expo ! We’ve teamed up to give Tasmania’s next wave of young talent the chance to play Good Gumnuts Festival.![]()

This is open to all school-aged musicians across Tasmania, from primary school through to Year 12. It’s not just for bands either, soloists can absolutely apply.![]()

We’ll have one winner open the Gumnut Stage, our main stage, and one winner open the Bluegum Stage, our second stage, at Good Gumnuts Festival 2027.![]()

To be eligible, you just need to:![]()
![]()
🎒 Be a student in Tasmania![]()
📅 Be available to perform at Burnie Show on Saturday 3 October![]()
🎤 Perform 3 songs at Battle of the Bands![]()
📆 Be available to perform at Good Gumnuts Festival on 6 March![]()
⏱️ Be able to perform a 45 minute set at Good Gumnuts if selected![]()

Original songs are encouraged, but not required. We’d love to hear 2 originals and 1 cover where possible.![]()

The winning acts will also score 3 day passes to Good Gumnuts Festival, for each member of the act, with more prizes to be announced soon.![]()
