Get Involved

Join the Team Behind the Show

Becoming a member of the Burnie Agricultural & Pastoral Society (BAPS) is one of the best ways to support the Burnie Show & Agri-Expo.

BAPS is run solely by volunteers. There are many practical ways to be involved before the show, during show week, on show days and from home.

Annual membership is $20 per year and runs by calendar year from January 1st. Members can volunteer their time, support planning and set-up, and help keep the Burnie Show tradition alive for future generations.

Why become a member?

As a Burnie Show member, you can:

  • Receive free entry to the show on both show days
  • Meet new people and join a friendly, enthusiastic team
  • Give back to the local community and be part of a major event
  • Learn new skills and gain practical experience
  • Support local agriculture, exhibitors, vendors, families and community groups
  • Help make sure the Burnie Show continues for future generations
