Who We Are:

The Show & Agri-expo (previously named The Burnie Show) is run by a group of dedicated, volunteer Board and Committee members of the Burnie Agricultural & Pastoral Society.
Their vision, passion and commitment to ensuring the growth and longevity of the Society has created a new look and feel to the 100 year old annual event. Our Centenary Show took us from a much smaller site to a 99 acre piece of land where the possibilities were endless. The event grew from approximately 50 attractions/commercial vendors in 2018 to 150 - 200 exhibitors/commercial vendors in 2019 and tripling our patron attendance.
We aim to make every Show & Agri-Expo bigger and better than the year before, giving families an event that they can spend all day enjoying. The future for our 99 acre site, called Agriplex, will include hosting many other events throughout the year with a summer event already in the planning stages.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to continue growing and becoming a major player within the Tasmanian agricultural show and field day scenes.
We pride ourselves in organising a well run event whilst treating our exhibitors and guests respectfully and acting upon any criticism received.
We strive to attract interstate guests and exhibitors to continue to give our event a fresh and modern look, Keeping timetables filled to capacity whilst keeping our event priced accordingly are essential to us!
